🏔️ Five Generations of Discovery on The Mountain 🏔️ This week, we're celebrating something truly special here at Oak Mountain Academy: a 5th generation of the Flinn family beginning their OMA journey. It all started in 1961, when Emery Flinn Jr. and Emery Flinn Sr., along with other founding families, helped bring Oak Mountain Academy to life. Their vision was clear: to prepare serious-minded students of sound character for college, to teach them how to learn, and to develop the discipline and leadership needed to succeed, all within a faith-based environment. That vision has carried through generations of the Flinn family ever since. Michael Flinn attended from Kindergarten through graduation in 1978. Justin Flinn spent 13 years on The Mountain. Daughter Katy Flinn, son Logan Flinn, and sister EJ Tepp all walked across the OMA stage as graduates too. Now, grandson Beckham begins his own journey, the 5th generation of this family to call Oak Mountain Academy home. The Flinn family's roots run even deeper today: Marni Flinn teaches Pre-K and McKay Flinn is a proud OMA room mom. Five generations. One Mountain.
