Art has always mattered here on The Mountain. From their very first days in Lower School, our youngest Warriors are encouraged to create, explore, and express themselves through art. It's a meaningful part of the PREPARE stage of the Nova Discovery Experience, helping shape how they see the world from the very start. This Grandparents Day, Friday, September 18th, that creativity takes center stage. Our Lower School students have poured their hearts into original artwork made especially for the grandparents and parents who mean so much to them, keepsakes meant to be treasured for years to come. The art show will be live and in person on The Mountain, during Grandparents Day. Parents will receive a link prior to the event via email so you don't have to wait to see it. Leadership in action at Oak Mountain Academy! 🚒 Our Big/Lil program pairs older students with younger mentees, giving our "Bigs" real opportunities to lead, and our "Littles" someone to look up to. This week, that mentorship took a fun turn with a Touch-a-Truck event featuring our local first responders! It was such a joy watching our Littles light up, learning alongside their Bigs and getting an up-close look at the vehicles and heroes who keep our community safe.
