Susan Morgan Robinson (c/o 73) received The Scholarship Cup twice. It is awarded to the student with the highest GPA. She excelled at debate at OMA, winning the State Championship Title in 1972 and 1973. Additionally, she was the editor of the first high school yearbook at OMA. As Valedictorian, she received a debate scholarship to attend George Washington University.
While attending college, she worked at the Senate for U.S. Senator Sam Nunn and later worked for President Jimmy Carter, writing position papers for his presidential campaign. She graduated with high distinction of arts in speech communications and broadcasting.
After OMA, she earned her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 1982. She was an accomplished lawyer specializing in Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law. For many years, she served as the attorney for the Grammy Awards. Susan's life outside of work was filled with music, tennis, and books.
