During the past year you have helped make a BIG difference in the academic life of each child enrolled at Oak Mountain Academy. Your kindness and generosity can be seen in the hallways, classrooms, playing fields, and especially the smiles on the faces of our children. Our school is wonderfully blessed by your continued support; we have a bright and exciting future. Your gifts support our children in so many way; many of which you may never see. The support of our donors reminds me of a very famous quote from Nelson Henderson: “The true meaning of life is to plant a tree, under whose shade you do not expect to sit.” The gifts that we give in support of our children’s education will affect them for years to come; in ways we may never know.

Types of Gifts
Gifts can come in many shapes and sizes, but all are welcome and all can play a vital role in promoting academic and personal excellence in the west Georgia region via Oak Mountain Academy. Cash, gifts in kind, appreciated assets (such as property and securities), life insurance, and other financial vehicles are valuable options for supporting the OMA mission.
Giving is a win-win situation for the giver and the gifted. Please consider that by selecting the right timing and type of gift, you may be able to:

Matching Gifts
Corporate matching gifts count towards the donor’s total giving to OMA and may significantly increase his or her gift to the Annual Fund Drive. Please check with your employer’s Human Resources Department.
Memorial and Honorarium Gifts
Memorial and honorarium gifts offer an opportunity to honor a relative, friend or business associate for a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, graduation) or during a bereavement period.
Planned Giving
Planned or deferred gifts allow donors to make a significant gift that will benefit Oak Mountain Academy in the future, typically at the donor’s or beneficiary’s death. These gifts include bequests, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, charitable gift annuities, and life insurance policies.
Publix Partners Card
Show your Publix Partners Card every time you buy groceries, and Publix will donate 1% of your purchases to our school. You can pick up a card from the Lower or Middle/Upper School Receptionist Deck, or ask the cashier next time you are in an area Publix store.
Target Guest Cards
When you apply for a Target Guest Card (credit card) you can designate OMA to receive donations equal to 1% of your in-store and online Target purchases.
Georgia Natural Gas: True Blue Schools Program
By enrolling in the True Blue Schools program, you automatically help raise money for the Georgia school of your choice. For each new customer, GNG will give OMA a $40 donation upon enrollment and $5 for each month you remain an active GNG customer. Anyone can participate. Box Tops for Education
Please save your Box Tops For Education labels and turn them in to your child’s teacher. All labels are used to help raised funds for ourMediaCenter.
