Grades 9 – 12
The upper school program at Oak Mountain Academy focuses on providing an excellent college preparatory experience for our students. Our teachers are not only knowledgeable in their subject areas, but also caring, committed individuals. We strive to set high expectations and standards for our students and work diligently to help them achieve, each and every day. This is accomplished by offering a wide array of challenging content courses, which include advanced placement and joint enrollment opportunities, coupled with outstanding student support from our dedicated faculty.
Oak Mountain Academy’s program is not limited to academic opportunities, however. We offer a wide array of extracurricular activities including drama, athletics, music, literary opportunities and art, along with a variety of clubs/organizations. Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), National Honor Society (NHS), Student Government, and Key Club are just a sample of the organizations in which our students participate. Opportunities for leadership, mentoring, and service abound.
The ultimate goal of our upper school program is to help our students grow into productive, hard working, respectful individuals who have the ability to think, reason, learn, work with others and contribute in a positive, meaningful manner to their families, their school and the world as a whole. We prepare them not simply for college, but for life.
