It has been noted that the path to college begins in pre-school. This is a path where light and learning meet and where fascination and foundation make the way smooth. This is a path the Oak Mountain Academy treasures deeply. Here, the education of pre-school children is fully immersed in love, in play, and in exploring the world around them.
Oak Mountain Academy has created a nurturing environment where the parent and teacher collaborate in a traditional school setting to give the 3-year-old child a remarkable first school experience. Through group cooking activities, music, movement, art, and foreign language, Oak Mountain Academy goes above and beyond to ensure a pre-school year like no other. By limiting our class size, we can provide children and their parents with unique opportunities such as a transition week at the start of the school year for parents and children. Our curriculum is age appropriate and aligned with the 4-year program to ensure a smooth transition to pre-kindergarten. Most importantly, we believe children learn from play, and at OMA, they will always be encouraged and allowed to do so. It is a privilege to educate the young child, and we cherish and value each opportunity.
